Hi Sue-I just free formed the sourdough. I would use white flour for your kiddo. :) The starter isn't too difficult; I think the problem was my abnormally warm apartment!
Excellent, I like the idea of free-forming it.I think maybe your container was too small as well.It was the mid-80's the last time I made sourdough bread but I used to make it a lot.
